1. Pick up rock to throw at Vulture (sitting on the sign).
2. Throw rock at Vulture.
3. Look at the sign and you will see a green bonding plant..dig (with your knife) this up and put it in your inventory. Note DON’T pull it up!
Walk on.
Lighthouse scene.
4. Enter lighthouse and talk (interesting) to the keeper. Check out the view from the top.
5.Exit the lighthouse and go round the side. DON’T go south (unless you save first!)
6. Cut the vines with your knife..and then use vines on wood..raft will be constructed..click on raft...down the river you go.
West Shanbar Town.
7. Turn around and go left to old mill..go through door on left..pick up the key.
8. Go back through mill and back to bridge (ignore Booz for now).
Gift shop
9. Go to gift shop (one down on left from Mayor).
10. Use key on lock to enter shop.
11. pick up battery and drop it into orb.
12. open cash register and pick up money and tickets.
Hardware Shop
13. Pick up box and crank (DON’T touch mice).
School
14. Use crank on bell to enter school.
15. Talk to teacher (interested)...she will give you a test (answer in the book that comes with RTZ)..Teacher will give you a notebook..
Town Hall
16. Talk to mayor..and check out file cabinet contents..make a save game here..so that you can come back any time to browse...many game hints in the files.
17. Check out the notes on “toasting”...now you know what Booz is on about!
Booz and Old Mill
18. Back to the old mill and Booz...repeat sequence of taking each drink and tipping it into the plant..then toast Booz..then drink (your empty glass)..do this 2 times..before drinking on the 3rd time ask for the keys..then drink..and continue for 4th drink...after which ..wait Booz will fall over and reveal basement door.
19. Before going down basement..pick up flask.
Level 2 (underground!)
20. Take the right hand door...then bear right...to Hero memorial..then left to Fools memorial (pick up the book here)....then bear right to Pugneys ranch.
21. Go to Pugneys (not the cow shed).
Pugneys Ranch
22. Talk to Pugney (interested, threaten...sorry)..he will give you permission to take the Bra box (DON’T pick it up before getting permission!)...also ask him about the book (jokes clue).
23. Now pick up the bra box.
24. Go back to the Fools memorial.
25. Go left to Snoots Farm.
Snoots Farm
26. Go thru the window...go straight ahead..into kitchen..DON’T go thru any other doorways yet.
27. Fill flask with water at the kitchen sink...back out of there..Now retrace your steps to the mill or New West Shanbar..then on to East Shanbar..
East Shanbar
28. Find Moodock’s (2nd on the left). Talk to him (interested) click on board nad play survivor..this is like a Chess game (with Knights move only)..just think ahead..and he will only have one move which you can block..after all you can move anywhere! Win and he will give you a sword and coin.
29. Find the incinerator (3rd on the left). Pull lever 1 and toss in the bra box...close lever 1 and pull lever 2..look in the drawer and see a red hot wire..pore water from flask onto the wire..pick up cool wire..and close box.
30. Go to General Store (1st on the left)..use wire on the lock to enter.
31 Pick up the Box and put rats in there...shake the cereal box untill the whistle appears..pick up whistle.
32. Now go to the Inn of Iseneough (1st on the right).
33. Take a picture of Molly.
34 Now go to the bridge between East and New West Shanbar...then go left..you will find Ben the boatman.
Ben the Boatman
35. Talk to Bne and ask about Mollys photo..he will give you a letter (DON’T open it at any time).
36 Check out Bens Knot (you will need the Cowhitch skill much latter).
37. Rent a boat by giving the coins to Ben.
38. To get the boat motor to work take out the rats and put them in the motor....and away we go...
Witch Hut (doorway in tree).
39. Ask the witch everything (especially about the book)..talk to her
40. Then give her the Letter (unopened)..she will give you permission to take the stick (DON’T try to take it before getting permission). Don’t worry about the bats for now ...we will have to come back a second time for them..sigh..
Creeping Bogs.
41. Step only after testing with the stick...can’t give you a map here because changes every time!..@#$...just head generally north and west..and out of the bog you come..
Snoots Farm again
42. Now head back to Snoots farm..thru the window again..
43. Thru the second door on your left..into a bathroom (best to save before entering because it can get ugly)...after she wacks you just keep on clicking sorry..to get permission to take things from the trailer..
44. Now into the kitchen..pick up the Thermos..Meat in the fridge..don’t touch the stove..Wash Waifs Gift in soapy water in the sink...another piece of disk...
45. Out of kitchen into other bedroom and pick up the Mirror..
46. Open door (says Keep out) just tease the dog Alexis to get him to bark (for your recorder)...
Pugneys Ranch again
47. Now this bloody cow...pick up some hay and drop it...strike your matches on the original pile of hay (not your new pile)...then drop the lighted match onto your new pile of hay and you will have a fire....warm your hands on it.
48. Now pick up your Thermos and milk the cow,,milk goes into the Thermos...
Whispering Woods.
49. Go thru East Shanbar and take the turn to the right..here is Whispering woods.
50. Now you’re going to do some mapping here...and frustrating it is.!@$#.. the way thru is s,s,e,e,s,e,s,e,s,e,n,n,n,e,e,s,s,s,w,s,s..hang on to the last minute before taking a drink of the milk from the Thermos to restore your sight...whew!
The Ferry
51. So now we use the whisper info of Three rings on the bell to call ferryman..just SHOW him the coin you got from Moodoks..and across we go..
Canuck’s Place
52. Enter..pick up the scroll and read it to the duck..Cauck appears..ask him about the book..Orb..whistle...DON’T ask about the scroll or bottle.
53. Now ask about the bottle..in we go...now quickly look up..to see the safe combination of 9,4,2,7.....down now and straight forward...Safe is in the corner of the room..enter combination..take disk piece..close safe..take rag..back out..
54. Before backing out of the bottle completely..take the mirror from your inventory...now back out...stops that creep Canuck...back to a duck he goes...
55. Put Mirror away ( we need almost everything in this game)..Check out the blueprint...looks like the door knocker...go outside..
56 Use your sword to prise the Magnet off the Knocker...
57. Down to the dock...ring twice for ferryman..show coin..back we go..
58. Stay on the dock (not at front of the woods).
Vulture
59. Now I sure as hell did not fancy going thru the Whispering woods again..besides It’s dark...so use the magnet on the whistle..and blow...down comes a Vulture...you can now go anywhere instantly...just open your map (there are 2 pages each with 2 screens)..and click on where you want to go...
More Milk
60. Go to Snootys again and find the silo...use the crank..clockwise to get carrots...off to the Cow again...repeat whole procedure of warming hands..and fed cow the carrots..and get more milk into Thermos...
Forest of Spirits
61 Thru East Shanbar take fork to left and come to Green Forest (maze)..

63. Here is my rough map..go to the Metal tree..use sword on the tree..pick up the coins..

93. Go to the statue..yes you have to follow the map and go thru the whole forest to get there...hit the statue with your sword..get another piece of the disk...
94. Go to spider...show the spider the necklace....onto the water fall..cut the web with sword...
95 Go behind waterfall and fill the flask with water...drop bat guano into the water...forms invisibility potion...
96. Go to Dwarven Mines..take the trolley...L.R.S.R.L.R.S.R.L.L.R..(be quick click well before you come to the change of direction)...
Ancient Statues
97. Put the following items on statues from left to right...Stick,Talon,Thermos, Nothing (centre statue empty), Box and Helmet (2things on this statue),Shield,Teleorb..
98. Put all the disk pieces into the Trencher..press the green button...wait,,now we have the whole disk...pick up the orb..
Zork Town
99. Go to Cliffs of depression turn around and go to the left...wall of illusion..throw the disk at the wall..it breaks..
100. Go forward to the door...use bow and arrows,,shoot arrow at the hand...
101. Go forward...at the Orc drink the potion (in the flask)...then play Alexis tape (he’s a hellhound!)...
102. Go forward to the bridge...now just chuck (one by one) everything out of your inventory at the bridge..it will go down steadily and then will come up...cross the bridge..
103. Play survivor...the following approach always works...using the following numbering for the squares...of

13.14.15.16...then play as follows move to square 10, 16, 7, 14, 5, 3, 12, 6, 4, 11, 2, 9, 15, 8....now where he blocks your move to the square required just press the “pass” button located at the bottom right of the screen..then make your move next turn.
